Why Saint Connection

As Christians walking in our faith with Christ, we are often at odds with the world around us and sometimes just our daily responsibilities and tasks.  We all have experienced the frenetic and overwhelming world of "connectivity" that we live in - be it ourselves, our children, our community - and never has it been more evident in our "social" environment.

It our goal and hope at The Saint Connection

to help provide a retreat-like experience to open our souls to calling of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit, The Paraclete, The Messenger in the still small voice:

1 Kings 19:11-12:

"Then the Lord said: Go out and stand on the mountain before the Lord; the Lord will pass by. There was a strong and violent wind rending the mountains and crushing rocks before the Lord—but the Lord was not in the wind; after the wind, an earthquake—but the Lord was not in the earthquake; after the earthquake, fire—but the Lord was not in the fire; after the fire, a light silent sound.

In this passage, while God can be great and powerful, often the Holy Spirit is in the "still small voice" of our conscience calling us to acts of Joy, Faith, Holiness, Truth, and Love. These 5 pillars of friendship and community are what our booklets are all about.

We invite you to come take the journey of exploring the Saints' witness to the call of the Holy Spirit by giving yourself or a loved one the gift of a mini-spiritual retreat.

Our booklets are designed to be read in one sitting or throughout the week. While the content can be read through in as little as 30 minutes, we encourage you to take some prayerful time - a break from the hectic daily responsibilities - to incorporate the inner reflection that is built-in to the stories.

A call to be more JoyfulFaithful, Holy, Truthful, and Loving.

Each saint is centered around one of the 5 Pillars of Friendship ( a call to be more Joyful, Faithful, Holy, Truthful, and Loving).  They incorporate both a reflection and adventure story - what it might have been like as the Saint was living through their trials.  Every section ends with a personal reflection and a call to action, encouraging us to listen to the Holy Spirit and live our faith openly as examples to others. Additional teaching materials and enrichment activities provide deeper learning opportunities.

These booklets are a perfect family activity, small group study or personal devotional to start your day or week off right by contemplating the Holy Spirit's call on your life and emboldening you and your family to think of ways to live your faith "out loud".

Learn More About Our Curriculum

  • What stories would each saint share with you about their adventures or trials if you were their friend?
  • What holy reflection might each saint share about their lives if you were able to talk with them in Heaven?
  • How would the Holy Spirit call you to be more like each saint in your own life?

Our stories explore each of these questions as you walk through each booklet and connect with what your saintly friend might have experienced.

Incorporated in each booklet is a reflection, teaching, and a call to action to guide the reader into action in their own lives with guidance from the Holy Spirit.

Friendship with the Holy Spirit

Friendship and Family is one of the most important human experiences we can have in our journey with Jesus. Each booklet volume is focused around what we consider 5 defining traits of friendship: Joy, Faith, Holiness, Truth, and Love.

JoyfulFaithful, Holy, Truthful, and Loving.

We've created a colorful, downloadable poster which is a prayer for Friendships with the Holy Spirit:

As an activity for you, your family, or your small group, we invite you to download our activity worksheet so that you can think of the things that are most important to your friendships and put them into writing. We invite you to then hang this in a place of prominence in your home, study, or office where it may become a daily reminder to listen for the guidance of the Holy Spirit in your life.

As your spiritual walk matures, you might find you'd like to revisit this activity on a yearly or semi-annual cadence to refresh your call to spiritual maturity.

Our booklets can also help you in your walk with God.

Feel free to check out both the booklets and a frame formatted color print of our Prayer for Friendships with the Holy Spirit which are excellent gifts for a loved one, your family, or even yourself!
